Discipleship: An Invitation to Change Nations Second Addition As we move forward in 2008, we are anticipating God’s favor. We must, as leaders in the Kingdom of God remain focused on that which is most important to the Lord. Presented in this article are… Seven Principles for Seven Mountains This teaching is predicated on the concept that there are seven major areas of culture that require “kingdomization” by the church. Whether you agree with this or have a variant belief, the concept of influencing culture as a part of our Kingdom mandate is not a new one. However, before discussing the Seven Mountains of culture, I want to present seven principles germane to our further discussion (which will be presented in the next article).
1. Vision – one thing Jubilee is strong on is Vision. It is an ambitious vision to network five fold ministry leaders for Kingdom service, and to raise up a generation of leaders who will live out the principles of the Kingdom fully. My apologies to committed dispensationalists; I do believe we will be advancing the Kingdom for many years. I probably won’t be here to see our vision come to fullness, but our kids and grandkids should live well on our generous inheritance, if we continue to focus on our… 2. Mission- Our mission is twofold…networking with committed koinonia, working together as teams, releasing leaders into greater service, etc. It is a worthy mission. To fulfill our mission requires that we adhere to our core… 3. Values- 5 C’s; the values of Vision International Education Network are similar to those of Jubilee, and can be summarized as the 5 C’s… · Christ…our Lord, our hope, our purpose · Community…the local church, the center of our work · Character…holiness our goal for each individual student · Calling …to serve, to work, to lead; ultimately to be a part of church expansionism · Competence… skills necessary to accomplish ones calling with character in community for Christ. We must remain focused on our mission and embrace these values in all we say and do. As such, we must continue to develop and work towards Kingdom…
4. Goals- To network and educate leaders for the 21st century, we want to do so while enjoying life, and ministering God’s grace. Of course, this requires a comprehensive and fluid… 5. Plan/ Program- To provide services to the church and world, from licensure and ordination, to basic discipleship training to advance education in partnership with Vision International University. We have strong programs and services have a strategic plan, which includes having strong… 6. Relationships- based upon mutual covenant; this is a core value of Jubilee, and the heartbeat of our founding Apostle, Dr. Kluane Spake. But of course, as we grow in the Lord and as an organization, we must have continual… 7. Evaluation- With the help of our members, we will continue to work towards fulfilling the mandate, our vision and mission as God provides resources.
The Apostolic network of Jubilee Alliance must stay focused on our seven Principles; that is to work to influence the Seven Mountains of Culture. More on the Seven Mountain to follow.
